Creator guide · Finding hands

How to find a specific hand in a long poker stream.

Start from what you remember: a player, the cards, the size of the pot, or roughly when it happened. Check the video's chapters, description and comments for timestamps, and search its transcript for a name. Then jump through the timeline in halves, reading the hand counter or who is seated, and step back to the deal once you are close. On indexed Garage Game Live broadcasts, GeelAI lets you search hands directly by player, starting hand or pot size and opens each one as its own clip.

Finding it by hand

  1. Write down what you know. Who played it, the cards, whether the pot was big, early or late in the session, and which day it streamed.
  2. Try the shortcuts first. Chapters, the description and pinned comments often list the big hands. Viewers leave timestamps in the comments too.
  3. Search the transcript. On YouTube, open "Show transcript" under the description and search it for the player's name or a word the commentators would say, such as "all in".
  4. Use the hand counter. Many broadcasts show a hand number. If you know roughly which hand it was, jump ahead, read the counter, and adjust.
  5. Halve the timeline. Jump to the middle and check the counter or who is seated, then keep halving the side the hand must be in. Seat changes and stack sizes narrow it quickly.
  6. Step back to the deal. Once you are inside the hand, go back to where the cards are dealt and note that time. A YouTube link with &t= and the seconds opens right there.

Searching indexed broadcasts with GeelAI

GeelAI reads the broadcast's own graphics, such as the hand counter, pot, player names and cards, and splits an indexed recording into individual hands. So instead of scrubbing, you ask for the hand:

The understood filters show how your request was read before any clip. Each result is the original broadcast footage of one hand, with its time in the stream, and you can preview it, download it or add it to a compilation.

To browse instead, the Garage Game Live broadcast pages list each stream's biggest pots and link every listed hand to its exact time on YouTube.

Common questions

How do I find a hand in a long poker stream without watching all of it?

Start from what you remember, such as a player, the cards, the pot or roughly when it happened. Check the video's chapters, description and comments for timestamps, search its transcript for a player's name, then jump through the timeline in halves using the hand counter or who is seated, and step back to the deal once you are close.

Can GeelAI find a hand in any poker stream?

No. GeelAI searches broadcasts it has indexed, and the public catalog covers Garage Game Live recordings today. Streams that control their footage can ask about a creator pilot to have their broadcasts indexed.

Why does a starting-hand search miss a hand I remember?

A starting-hand search matches only when both hole cards were recorded for the same player. If the overlay never showed both cards, or one was misread, the hand will not match, and board cards are not searched. Try the player's name or the pot size instead.
