I'm Luke Geel, a Boston-based AI engineer, poker player, and poker technology writer. I built GeelAI and its main product, PokerStreamClipper, to help turn long poker broadcasts into searchable hands and useful highlights.

Background

My work combines machine learning, computer vision, and practical tools for poker players and content creators. I also write about the opportunities and limits of poker technology, including its implications for game integrity.

I play poker in the Boston area and have appeared on the Garage Game live stream. Wanting an easier way to collect my own recorded hands helped inspire PokerStreamClipper.

GeelAI and PokerStreamClipper

GeelAI is my home for poker technology projects and writing. PokerStreamClipper uses stream profiles, overlay recognition, and metadata to help find recorded hands, preview clips, and create compilations. The Garage Game clips guide explains how to use the public archive.

The broader mission is to make poker video more searchable and to help the poker community understand how artificial intelligence will affect content creation, training, game security, live poker policy, and online integrity.

ESPN And The 2026 WSOP Main Event

I created a separate experimental poker behavior analyzer that compared visible cues in labeled historical footage and produced retrospective probability estimates. Omaha Productions featured the project during ESPN's coverage of the 2026 World Series of Poker Main Event.
